Excelsior Tour’s north coast real estate and investment tours are designed to give you an in depth view at not only opportunities but also the market scenario and the proposed plans for the area. Ecuador´s norther area from exotic Esmeraldas to tranquil Perdonales is often overlooked by parties interested in coastal opportunities. Therefore, the area is less developed than areas such as Manabi or Guayas. But that in itself offers more opportunities and diversity. Furthermore, this area holds what can be debated as the best beaches and superior climate. The fact that this area is the more accessable to Quito by automobile has its advantages in itself. We offer our tours for four nights with two in Quito and two on the coast. This should serve sufficient time for an exploratory visit but more actual nights on the coast can be arranged.
One will find this area as less developed or as modernized as popular resort areas in the Carribean, USA or Europe. Nonetheless, there has been much growth in the last 10 years with new construction condominiums and private communities. But…..one will find it much more open and not very congested. This area remains the tourist destination for Ecuadorians from Quito and hotel rooms are hard to find in the high season. Among the upside to this area……

You will enjoy the local culture while you are with us as we introduce you to the favourite places for dinner and relaxing. Finally, you meet other investors and "expats" living and doing business in the coast.
We will star our tour from Quito where we will spend one night to gain a good rest for the early start the following day. We will take the beautiful drive by private car or van from the mountains of Quito down to the low lands of the coast. We will pass through the hacienda area of Santo Domingo which is known for extensive investment in bananas, palm oil, and oranges. We will enter the coastal area at Perdonales and end our first travel day near Atacames where will we spend two nights. That will give us one full day and a half in this area before returning back to Quito for the last night. The return trip will take us by another route via the famous cloud forest area of Mindo where you will find investments in coffee.
