The mission of Colonialecuador.com is to offer opportunities for non-Ecuadorians to invest, live, and experience in the great country of Ecuador. We provide “expatriate” services that facilitate the process of owning a piece of this great country. We offer specialized “tours” that will introduce you to not only opportunities but also to people that will make a transition here easier. Latin American countries can be difficult for foreigners looking to purchase property and invest but our service is designed to minimize any risks that one might encounter from other non-foreigners like ourselves. Our perspective on doing business here has a more “westernized” outlook and we feel that gives us a serious advantage with our clients.
Whether you are interested in the coast, jungle, mountainsides or city life….our tours will introduce you to knowledgeable people in each area that will show you opportunities that are difficult to find unless you are an “insider”. We have many contacts in other areas of Ecuador and will refer our clients to the most knowledgeable person for any particular area. As you will find on our website, our “passion” is Spanish Colonial architecture and that is our main personal interest. We have many reasons for this but mainly it is because these types of properties cannot be replicated today for cost or aesthetic reasons. Therefore, you will find property listings to include mostly the properties of Spanish Colonial style listed on our site. It is almost impossible to list all the opportunities we could uncover for the client in Ecuador.
As you can see from our website, we offer many properties to lease. A large part of our business is providing management service to our clients after the purchase. We operate our rentals more like hotels with short and long term stays which has proven very efficient for our clients. Please view our rental listing on this site.
We are a fee based service that is paid by the buyers and do not accept any compensation from sellers. We are a buyer’s agent working for our clients. Please consult with us about our fees.
